Patrice Reynolds

Founder & Executive Artistic Director, Dream House Theatre

Patrice Reynolds is the Founder and Senior Artistic Director of Dream house Theatre, a community-driven performing arts theatre based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Originally from Landover, Maryland, Patrice relocated to Myrtle Beach in 2012 with a vision to create a home for powerful storytelling, emerging talent, and community engagement through live theatre.

With over 18 years of experience in the independent theatre industry, Patrice brings a dynamic background as a playwright, producer, director, and youth mentor. Her work spans stage productions, original plays, film and creative projects that have earned awards and national recognition for artistic excellence and impactful storytelling.

Patrice is deeply passionate about using theatre as a "costume" for connection to humanity, inspiration, and empowerment. Through Dream House Theatre, she is committed to uplifting diverse voices, mentoring emerging artists, and enriching the cultural landscape of Myrtle Beach by producing meaningful, high-quality performances that leave a lasting impact on audiences.

Dream House Theatre was founded with a simple but powerful idea: to create a space where stories matter and creativity feels at home. Built from a passion for the performing arts and a deep love for storytelling, Dream House Theatre was established in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2018, to serve as a platform for live stage productions that reflect real experiences, and meaningful narratives.

Rooted in over two decades of experience in playwright, producing and directing, Dream House Theatre was created to fill a need for intimate, community-driven theatre where emerging talent is supported, original works are celebrated, and audiences feel personally connected to every performance. From its earliest days, the vision has been about more than entertainment; it has been about unity, impact, expression, love and connection.
